Mel and Steve
Dr. J. Melvyn and Martha Ming and Steve and Ronda Mills are the founding partners of Leadership Development Resources LLC. After many years of collaboration in producing leadership materials and coaching church leadership teams, we formed LDR out of a commitment to a biblically based, Christ centered mission to develop leaders and empower churches. The focus of this blog is developing leaders and empower churches.
Mel
Serves as the Executive Director for the Division of Pastoral Development & Care for the Northwest Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God and adjunct professor for the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and Southeastern University. His wife, Martha, partners with Mel in ministry.
Mel has served as a pastor, missionary, college administrator and professor and district official. Mel was the founder of the Doctor of Ministry program for the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
His educational background includes: a post doctoral concentration in leadership at Seattle University (Catholic); a Doctor of Ministry in Church Administration at Drew University (United Methodist); a Master of Religious Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Southern Baptist); and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanguard University (Assemblies of God).
Mel Ming is a well known leadership and organizational consultant who travels widely training and coaching church leaders and organizations.
Steve
Steve serves as a church coach / consultant and conference speaker, Previously he served as the Church Ministries Leadership Coach, Executive Director of the Division of Church Ministries, for the Northwest Ministry Network from 2001 to 2008. He also served as Church Growth and Leadership Consultant for the General Council of the Assemblies of God. He has served as a pastor, trainer, author, and denominational leader.
His educational background includes a Master of Arts in Church Ministry from the Assembly of God Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts from Northwest University.
Steve Mills is a well known leadership and organizational trainer who travels widely consulting and coaching church leaders and organizations.
